Same name, the site’s red palette, its navigation, and its directory mission since 2005, with the real logo and the real logos of the listed companies. All five proposals are light (like the original site) and fully browsable: Home, Background Screening Companies with search, state filters, and maps, company profiles with the PBSA seal, Suppliers/Providers with the Vendor Showcase’s 50 real categories, Knowledge Center, Blog, Publications, and Advertise.
New in this revision: the Guided Match. Four multiple-choice questions (what you need to screen, PBSA accreditation, services, location) rank the directory and return the best-fit companies with a fit score and the reasons behind it. It runs on simple rules over the directory’s own data, computed instantly in the browser: no AI, no per-search cost. The Vendor Showcase also gained a live category search across its 50 categories.
Inside any proposal, the top navigation reaches every page. The directory search filters live; the U.S. tab has the map and state filters (including Texas as an example empty state); the International tab has the world map and the site’s six real regions; the Alphabetical tab has the A–Z letter index; homepage logos link to each company’s profile; and in Suppliers/Providers, categories with a real vendor show its card while the rest show the empty state with its call to action.
To try the Guided Match, open any proposal and use Guided match: answer 4 questions in the hero (or the first item under How May We Help You). Answer the four questions and the results page shows each company’s fit score, the reasons it matched, and the rest of the qualifying list. Setting accreditation to Required demonstrates the hard filter; the empty state explains how to loosen it.
